·        Present Perfect  X  Simple Past

Simple Past é usado para referir-se a uma ação que aconteceu em tempo determinado no passado porque essa informação (quando aconteceu) é importante. Expressões usadas: yesterday, last week, last month, three year ago...

I bought the CD yesterday.
 I didn't go to school last week.
 I bought a new blouse this morning.

Present Perfect refere-se a uma ação em tempo indeterminado no passado, ou porque não julgamos irrelevante quando a ação aconteceu.

FORMAÇÃO:
SUJEITO + HAVE/HAS + PAST              [PARTICIPLE]

I have decided to spend christimas with my family
 The army has attacked that city five times.

TOPIC 1     Experience
Você pode usar o Present Perfect Tense para descrever sua experiência. É como dizer, “Eu tive a experiência de”... Ou que você nunca teve certa experiência. Expressões usadas:
 never(nunca), ever (alguma vez), already (já) , yet(ainda,já).

I have been to France. (Eu estive na França)

I haven't been to Hopi Hari yet. (Eu ainda não estive no Hopi Hari)

I have never been to France. (Eu nunca estive na França)

I think I have seen that movie before. (Eu acho que vi este filme antes)

He has never traveled by train. (Ele nunca viajou de trem)

A: Have you ever met him? (Você alguma vez o encontrou ?)

TOPIC 2 Multiple Actions at Different Times
Você pode usar o PPT para falar de ações que aconteceram várias vezes no passado. Expressões usadas: once, twice, several times.

She has talked to specialists several times about her problem, but nobody knows why she is sick. ( Ela falou várias vezes com especialistas sobreo problema, mas ninguém  sabe porque ela está doente.)

TOPIC 3 - Duration From the Past Until Now
Você pode usar o PPt para falar de ações que começaram no passado e continuam até o presente. Expressões usadas: since, for.

I have loved surfing since I was a child. (Eu amo(tenho amado) surfar desde que eu era criança)

She has been in England for six months. (Ela tem estado (está) na Inglaterra por 6 meses)

Mary has loved chocolate since she was a little girl. (Mary tem amado(ama) chocolate desde que era uma garotinha.)

My English has really improved since I moved to Australia. (Meu inglês  realmente melhorou muito desde que eu mudei para Austrália)

TOPIC 4
Podemos usar o PPT para indicar uma ação que acabou de acontecer. Expressão usada: Just.

I´ve just read your e-mail. (Eu acabei de ler seu e-mail)

The boy has just broken the window. (O garoto acabou de quebrar a janela)

Palavras importantes no Present Perfect Tense (como usá-las): Never / ever / yet / already.

I have never been to France.

I haven't finished it yet
